If you’ve experienced severe tooth decay, advanced gum disease, or trauma, Love Dental Studio knows that the tooth loss that often comes with it can feel disheartening. It’s natural to feel a mix of emotions about the change in your smile and concern for your oral health. Dr. Marla Yee can guide you through each step, offering solutions that prioritize your comfort and overall well-being.
Dental bridges are often recommended because they are an affordable restorative option designed with the intention of bringing back the full functionality and appearance of your natural teeth. By bridging the gap where teeth may be missing, these devices help to ensure that the remaining teeth do not shift out of place, which could lead to further oral health concerns. A dental bridge is more than a physical construct; it’s a step towards restoring your confidence and the healthful joy of a complete smile.
At the core of our practice is a commitment to guiding you through your dental care with reassurance and clarity. During your dental bridge appointment, our goal is to make you feel informed, comfortable, and cared for, like family. Your journey begins with a consultation where Dr. Yee takes the time to understand your dental needs and desires. She’ll review your dental history, examine your teeth, and discuss your options openly.
After deciding on a dental bridge, we’ll prepare your smile to fit a new dental bridge. Then, we’ll take an impression of your teeth and send it off for fabrication. While your custom bridge is being created, we fit a temporary bridge to protect your prepared teeth and maintain the aesthetics of your smile. Once your bridge is ready, you’ll return for the final fitting. Your temporary bridge will be removed, and your new one will be adjusted as needed to ensure a perfect fit and bite.
We deeply understand the importance of making informed choices, especially when it involves your health and comfort. To ensure you feel both supported and knowledgeable about your options, here’s a gentle overview of the types of dental bridges that Love Dental Studio uses to restore that irreplaceable smile:
Traditional Bridges
Traditional bridges are the most common type. They consist of one or more faux teeth, called pontics, which are held in place by dental crowns cemented onto the adjacent natural teeth. This type is durable and is an excellent choice if you have natural teeth on both sides of the gap left by a missing tooth.
Implant-Supported Bridges
For those seeking a strong and stable option, implant-supported bridges are anchored by dental implants. Each implant is placed for every missing tooth, and these implants hold the bridge in position. This option is admired for its strength and longevity, closely mimicking the feel of natural teeth.
As always, Love Dental Studio is available to discuss your options compassionately, helping you to understand the benefits and considerations of each type of service and ensuring we find the perfect fit for your unique situation. Remember, each smile tells a story, and Dr. Yee can help yours speak volumes.

I saw Dr. Yee as a new patient for a routine dental cleaning. On arrival I was promptly greeted by the front desk staff. I was brought back for treatment quickly. The dental assistant and hygienist were lovely. Dr. Yee talked me through every procedure, and even discussed the x-ray and photo findings with me. Dr. Yee and her staff provided excellent dental care. I will definitely be coming back!
The staff members were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my visit. The nurses and dentist demonstrated an impressive level of knowledge, taking the time to explain my dental concerns in a way that was easily understandable…10/10. And thank you Dr. Marla!
Great practice! Scheduling as a new patient was a breeze. I saw Dr. Yee who was very thorough and professional. She explained findings from my x-rays that no other dentist had ever brought to my attention. All of my questions and concerns were addressed and I left feeling more empowered to better maintain my oral hygiene. Highly recommend!
